A New Year, A New Day

We hope that you are having a fruitful start to 2025!

Our prayers go out to those that are impacted by natural disasters both on the west and east coast of the U.S.

The turning of a year is significant! It's a time of reflecting on the past as we simultaneously plan for the future. As we know, there are days in life such as what happened this past week that come unexpectedly. They weren't a part of our plan. Our security rests in knowing that God holds the past, the present and the future. While there's pain in the night, joy comes as the sun rises on a new day.

"Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning." PSALM 30:5

Every morning his mercies are NEW and even in our mourning, He is so near to the brokenhearted!

"The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." LAMENTATIONS 3:22-23

As we look towards the future let's recount what God has done in the past. We are grateful at RWI for all God has been doing in the DRC! People are hearing the word of God in their own language through the proclaimers and listening groups! Our team on the ground has been so fruitful and so faithful - for that we are thankful. Ron and Doris will be returning to the DR Congo this Spring as they are learning to trust God in the good times and the challenging times. Please continue to keep them in your prayers!

Thank you for all that you've sowed into our ministry in the DRC this past year!

May you see a return on your investment as you continue to store up riches in heaven.

United in Love, Walking in Hope, Persevering in Faith,

THE RWI TEAM
