Carry it on to Completion

As we recently shared, the Ebola outbreak occurred in Eastern DR Congo, about 750 miles east of Mbandaka. Reports confirm more than 1330 cases and 400 deaths in the DRC, and Ebola remains a major public health concern. Cultural funeral practices, mistrust, misinformation, and armed conflict are hampering authorities' and health workers' efforts to contain the situation.  

While Ron and Doris are in the United States, we are pleased to report that our team in the DRC is actively working to further the gospel and the mission of RWI. Jean and Sarah Yao are missionaries serving the Pygmy community in Mbandaka and the villages along the road leading into the interior. Their village churches are expanding in God’s Word with the help of the Proclaimers. Four Pygmy men have become committed leaders and trainers, using the Proclaimers as a catechism tool.  

We're grateful that God is no respecter of persons and that He will not only continue but also complete the work He has begun in the DRC.

Philippians 1:3-6
