Proclaimers, Reading Glasses, English Classes & Gratitude

We are excited that our shipment by boat from Kinshasa to Mbandaka, containing Proclaimers, reading glasses, educational materials, and personal items arrived very late Saturday evening in four trunks and was delivered to our front door in excellent condition.

We will begin distributing Proclaimers to listening group leaders who have been patiently waiting and visit many other growing clubs.

Proclaimers

Mr. Samedi (means Saturday) spent eighteen months in Mbandaka Central Prison, where he heard God's Word through one of the listening clubs and his heart was convicted and his life changed. Upon his release, he requested a Proclaimer so he could start a listening club in his community. Mr. Samedi is one of several former prisoners who leads a listening club for those who do not have Bibles. Now, he earns his income by ironing clothes for people with his charcoal-heated iron. Doris is blessed by his meticulous ironing!

Glasses

Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to everyone who sent us glasses. Individuals from various backgrounds will have the opportunity to enhance their vision both spiritually and physically, as they line up to try on reading glasses ranging from 1.25 to 2.50. Thanks to God's grace, everything passed through customs swiftly and without any complications.

English Classes

Doris now has her materials for the teacher training classes for Level 3 English – Bible classes.

United in Love, Walking in Hope, Persevering in Faith,

Ron & Doris
